First Use
My first use of my new 25L Roll Pack was an international trip. Used both as on flight bag and for day hikes. For the traveller it is great, loads of storage and all easily accessible during check-in. My Surface was quickly retrieved and stowed thanks to handy side access. For day hikes it was comfortable enough, though never fully loaded. If I had a criticism it would be there is no provision for hiking poles to be fixed vertically . Though collapsed poles easily rolled into top of bag. Overall great versatile bag.

I have a dozen backpacks, I think I finally found the one I need! This bag is very light and the finishing touches are of great quality. The quick access pockets and water bottle compartments (very long) are great for Nalgene size. The color is not really black but rather grey.

Got this for myself as an xmas present and am quite pleased. The front and side pockets are incredibly convenient and are what are always lacking from typical roll top bags. The side pockets especially can hold an impressive amount (a rolled up jacket, a 2L bottle of soda etc.). The little pocket/pouch between the front pocket and main body is very useful for a phone/small book/snacks that you need to access quickly. I can comfortably fit a whole weeks shopping OR a week long trip worth of clothing inside. The laptop sleeve is well designed but the smaller pocket on the other side is less so, you can feel anything bulkier than a very thin wallet on your back due to its closeness to the padding. There's a good amount of internal organisation, though largely for thin things/documents, I usually use several some pouches to organise when travelling. The waist belt feels too thin to be of much use. The waterproofing is also rather good, I've not used it during torrential rain but in showers I've never had a problem.

Bought this for my husband's birthday. As an author and illustrator of children's books he provides workshops for schools so needs a bag with a good capacity and plenty of separate compartments and pockets for organising all the IT equipment, books and drawing materials he needs to take with him. He's really pleased with it, especially the key fob, as losing his car keys is one of his hobbies. The colour is really smart and practical too.

This is my second Smith roll pack even though the slate-colored one I bought five years ago is still up and rolling. My new one is graphite grey. Smart and functional, I never tire of it being a part of me.

This backpack is just great for my use cases, the color is stylish and I really like all the pockets, especially the side-pockets. There are only two disadvantages in my opinion. First, the straps get loose by time and you have to tighten them about twice a week, and second, the backpack won't stand "upright", you can only lay it on its front or back, this is a bit annoying when packing it. Apart from this, it is just great and my new favorite backpack :D

Great bag with lots of compartments for all your gear. I've been using this for a few months now and I just love all the little details you keep discovering, like the fold out reflective tab on the back (great for cycling or running). There are also two easy access pockets on the back, including one with a handy clip to stop keys getting lost. The internal dividers are great for easy access to my work stuff. Best of all is the use of recycled materials.
