Photolog Hawaii's Kauai and Waimea Canyon
- with Tom Powell

We join our friend and Millican ambassador Tom Powell as he makes the most out of his small pocket of time in Hawaii.

Located in Honolulu for work, Tom finds himself besieged by sky-high buildings and crowds, so slips away for some secluded moments on the small island of Kauai to discover vast cliffs and empty beaches. And, before he heads back to New Zealand, Tom packs a few travel essentials into his Smith the Roll Pack 25L, grabs his Travel Wallet and a tent, and makes a final stop at Hawaii’s Waimea Canyon, to see the panoramic views over the volcanic landscape.

"Your eyes could search the panoramas for hours, and every trail from one side of the island to the other."

"It's been a long time since I've been stopped in my tracks, but seeing that canyon carved into the landscape for the first time was a lot to take in... I found myself a little spot to pitch up for the night and just watched the landscape change as the sun went down over the volcanic cliffs."
