Job Title: Customer Service Executive

Reports To: Operations Manager

Spec: 9am to 5pm, 5 days a week

Location: Braithwaite Farm, Keswick, Lake District, UK

Salary: £21,000

Millican HQ is based in a small business community on a farm in Keswick, The Lake District. The Role:

As the voice of Millican and first point of contact with our customers, you will be there to offer support and fulfilment of orders, queries and stock management, while representing our brand and values. 

Your Key Responsibilities:

– Manage the customer experience from purchase to fulfilment

– Process customers’ orders

– Provide support for customers

– Report to the Operations Manager

Order Processing:

– Process online orders including amendments and refunds

– Provide support and troubleshooting for customers through this process

– Facilitate the returns and repair service for consumers

– Daily liaison with our external warehouse to despatch orders

Stock Management support:

– Update products/stock on our website

– Track and process returns

– Manage the level of stock held in the office

– Process and manage product requests from PR and marketing

Office Management: 

– Manage the smooth running of office – always visitor-ready

– Packing and shipping of any products from main office outside of warehouse fulfilment (occasional)

Your Profile:

  1. Customer service experience (2 years) essential
  2. Shopify experience desirable, although not essential
  3. IT competent and digitally aware
  4. Confident, responsible and organised team player
  5. Calm, multi-tasking people-person with strong communications skills and high attention to detail
  6. Ability to manage and write emails quickly and efficiently
  7. An adaptable do-er who is willing to roll up their sleeves and make things happen
  8. Passionate about Millican’s ethos and culture of responsible living
