Show Season
As we approach our second and final show of the year this weekend we can hardly confess to be stalwarts of the show circuit. With the unfortunate cancellation of the CLA Game Fair back in July resulted in our show attendance shrinking from a total of 3 down to 2.
We have ambitions of one day opening a small shop, somewhere in the Lakes with a workshop out the back where we can service, repair and experiment with new bag designs and maybe a nice little studio office.
For now, the back garden shed provides a lovely working environment and the select shows that we attend allow us to get out there and speak to like-minded people and hear how they are getting on with their bags.
So the Bongo and trailer is fully packed and just about ready for the 8 1/2 hour journey down to Goodwood Revival, our final (possibly most favourite) show of the year.

The three day event running from the 14th – 16th is something really quite special. Famed as the world’s most popular historic motor race meeting and the only event of its kind to be staged entirely in the nostalgic time capsule of the 1940′s, 50′s and 60′s.
Theatrical it is, with everyone looking the part and ready for a good time. The Millican outfit has had a slight update from last year, we’ve opted for a slightly warmer ensemble as last year’s shorts and short-sleeved shirt proved a little cold at times.
Jorrit looking the part at Goodwood Revival 2011
Fear not though, both Jorrit and myself will be looking equally as ridiculous as we did last year.
A congratulations is in order for a Mr David Gilchrist. Your Mark the Field Bag purchase on the 18th August was picked out at random resulting in 2 x free tickets to Goodwood Revival on Friday the 14th.
For those of you who are making the trip to Goodwood this weekend, be sure to pop by and say hello, we’ll be on stand 104/5 in the main arena.
P.S. Mention the words ‘Pith Helmet’ to one of us on the stand and you could be in for a little discount…
