It’s All the Rage
It’s all about speed. Yes, the future of digital photography may well be all about sharing images in real time on line with hundreds of Facebook and Twitter friends. However, if you sit in a similar camp to me; just like holding a good book there’s no substitute for actually holding a photo in your hand.
The new Z2300 from Polaroid may be the answer to all your problems, well mine anyway.

The Z2300 has the familiar retro polaroid styling resembling a digital camera from the 90′s. Slotting perfectly into Ian the Camera Case (back in stock in a couple of months) it’s said to be a little thicker and heavier than most digital cameras around at the moment. That’s to be expected as most digital cameras don’t encompass a printer.
Not only can you print snaps there and then, the camera also includes an SD memory card, allowing you to store and upload images to the social world.

In case you were wondering there is an option of printing the photos with the iconic white border making everything look that little bit better. It can even render black and white or colour tinted photos to get the whole Instagram effect.
I saved the best feature till last, the neatest trick of all is the peel-off back, which turns each print into a photo-sticker. Good eh?
Attach a few to the pages of your Moleskine note book, scribble in some notes and you’ve got the perfect travelogue.
My excitement shown for a small hand held camera may be an indication of my level of competence in shooting images. Stuff Magazine recently covered Mark the Field Bag showing that he makes the ideal companion for your SLR.

Used my ‘Mark’ to take my Canon 550d with a few lenses (and a snorkle) to Mallorca last week – lovely bag!
Hey Thomas,
Thanks for commenting, great to hear that Mark did the job!
Purchased Stewart on Saturday at Burghley, because needed something bigger after using using Mark everyday over the last few years. I’ve also got Jim, for weekends away. However, Jim is also used everyday for my photographic equipment. Maybe I need the new suitcase!
Ps. Love the new colour.
Hey Mark,
Great to see you at Burghley on Saturday. Glad to hear that Mark and Jim have been working so well for you. You won’t go far wrong with Stewart.
Thanks for the feedback on the Grey Blue.
