Millican Dalton made it onto the BBC2 again with a replay of the Wainwright Walks series with Julia Bradbury earlier tonight.While Julia climbed Castle Crag in typically variable Borrowdale weather, she described that “Millican swapped his life as an insurance clerk in London for a life of adventure and freedom in the outdoors”. The cave on Castle Crag he used to live in was a dis-used quarry, originally used to quarry slate for stone walling.From local legend to national presence ….
