VERA
The Dame of Sewing, West Cumbria
We managed to persuade Vera out of retirement by promising a couple of easy products and a second hand industrial sewing machine.
After months of sampling, we now know that the smallest items can be the trickiest, so we were wrong on that one. Luckily Vera has seen it all before, after 40+ years of sewing, managing and teaching at Pringle and Kangol. She makes everything look effortless and now we’ve just taken delivery of our very first sewing machine, our products are in very good hands.
Products hand-finished by the Dame of Sewing are Les and Derek, as well as the 12oz canvas backdrops for our stand.
