HENRY
Bag maker and farmer, BHL Bag Manufacturing

Henry’s dad David started their bag factory in 1975 in Hong Kong, joining the first wave of businesses invited into Mainland China in the 1980s.  Highly experienced, they remain a relatively small family business, dedicated to making quality products and looking after their team.

Two years ago, Henry took this one step further by starting a second career as a local farmer.  His 600,000 ft2 farm provides >20 vegetables for their own canteen every day, as well as feeding another 1,000 workers elsewhere.  He’s passionate about food, tea, quality of life and forever learning new ways to make both the farm and the factory part of a more sustainable future.
