Other than here at our online homeofmillican store, the full range is also sold through our retail partners – an eclectic mix of partners, from Phil at Tonic on Portobello Road to Karen and Archie at A Hume in the Scottish Borders.
It’s hard to believe since we sold our first bag at the Keswick Mountain Festival back in 2009 that we now have retailers dotted around the globe. The map on the wall of The Shed (Millican HQ) has yellow pins for places we’ve visited and blue pins for our retail partners. Blue is slowly catching up.
We set out to make great travel bags. Every time the phone rings with a wholesale enquiry we’re equally as excited as when we received our first from the Flock In at Yew Tree Farm, Rosthwaite, Borrowdale. A very fitting partner, since Millican Dalton used to walk from his cave through the fields of the farm to pick up his post in Rosthwaite. Herdwick wool for our Cooler Bag, i-Pad covers and Camera Case also come from the very same place.
