MATERIALS WE USE
STAINLESS STEEL

Simon and Andy, our re-usable water bottles, are made from the highest food grade standard (#304) stainless steel, which has a low nickel content and is 100% recyclable.
To avoid any possible health concerns normally associated with using plastic bottles or lined aluminium bottles, we’ve simply opted for stainless steel, the material of choice in the food industry.
The BPA (bisphenol A, an endocrine disrupter) in plastic water bottles could leach into your drink over time, or if the bottle is exposed to heat and sunlight for long periods.
Aluminium bottles require a special lining to prevent aluminium coming into direct contact with your drink. This lining is usually made of plastic (could leach chemicals), or baked on epoxy or ceramic (could crack).
Stainless steel seemed a very sensible alternative – people and planet friendly.
Our caps are made from polypropylene (#5), one of the safest forms of plastic, free of
BPA. This means the cap is safe when in contact with all cool liquids, including acidic fruit juices, dairy or even alcohol.
